Alittle quilting

Just a few things I'm working on these days.

Fall Pot holders in the making. Sunbonnet Sue Machine emb.

And of course there's always plans swimming in my head.

Fabric for my fall place mats and christmas place mats.

I'm re-thinking the placemats. I was just going to do plain placemats. No pattern. Then just quilt. But now I'm not sure.

I have 3 pieces of Christmas Fabric that I am not going to be using if any one is interested I will post photos. They look vintage but I'm not sure. It is Santa in sled with a town sence. I have them in Blue, Red, and a green. THese came from a quilt show in Cordova, Tn.

Just e-mail me if interested.

I had planed today to quilt my pot holders, but my walking foot fits my machine in the Rv and since We're pulling it next week I don't want to take it out.

On to a different subject.

The economy.

Personally I find all of this weeks news very unnerving. I am a licensed Mortgage officer with our state, And I understand where the problems in that industry came from. I'm also married to a Home Builder. Double hit!

But that did not cause all of this. Somebody needs to step up to the plate and admit mistakes.

This looks to my like the Great Depression to me. I'm sorry but how long can we print money? I agree something has got to be done, but what?

It is sad that our Great Nation has come to this and that we are in this mess. I do not believe that our President caused this. The house does not share his veiws and where no one agrees nothing is ever easy.He may have dropped the ball on somethings but not this. He can not stop people from spending more than they make. As adults that is their chouse And this mess is from I want, I deserve, and I'm going to have. You give children candy for so long they will always demand it and never eat veggies. We have became a nation of spoiled brats. And unless God under takes we're in trouble. But why would he under take? No one wants anything to do with him.
