My GGM was the mother figure in my life and I've found that as I age I remember so many things remind me of her. She was a quilter as most Southern Women in her time was. To my knowledge I'm the only one that does that. I miss the old fireplace and the wood quilt frame in the living room. Where I would hid in under it as she quilted. There was never alot of money but alot of love. They where farmers and I've found out that there are some things money just can't buy.
I resemble her alot. And being the first great grandchild that is fine with me.
Money can buy alot of things, but it can not buy family and memories.
