I've been looking for Homespuns Christmas edition locally and have not been able to find it. So I bite the bullet and ordered it from Stonehouse. Now mind you the price of the magazine plus the shipping makes it alittle pricey. But I wanted it. Ordered it and have been waiting on its arrival.
This morning we had to go to the hospital for alittle while. On the way UPS called and got directions to my house, letting me know they had a package for me. It dawned on me the only thing I had coming was my magazine.
Not thinking about Rudy my over grown puppie and her love for beating me to the morning paper I didn't for see any problems.
When we pulled into the driveway I saw it. She had decided to read it before me. After jumping out of the car and DH being in a small state of shock I proceeded to inspect what was left. She had helped herself to the ad section in the back. She did leave me with the rest in fairly good condition. A few teeth marks hear and there. But it was readable.
She is my mess. Alittle over a year old and already weighs about 75 pounds. Anything that I touch is fair game to her.
But she loves me and I her.
Now to figure out if she intends to buy anything she ate.
My dog recently decided that four inches of knitting looked yummy. So my pomeranian, grabbed the knitting needle holding said knitting and carried it down the steps around the corner and half way down the next steps. And pulled half of it off and started knawing. $10 yarn that doesn't re-knit. you are stuck with whatever you stitch in it b/c it doens't unpull. Thank GOd I paid a $0.79 clearance price for it, or he would have been in a LOT of trouble.
