Thoughts

Not sure if any time will be spend in the work room today. If so, I'll be quilting the fall table runner. It turn out the way I had in visioned. Which is always a good thing.
But today is Banking, grocery's and I'm picking up some home made tamela's. She's good. Real good in fact.

I've been thinking about life in general and the things that bring me joy.
Without saying my walk with God.
But the earthly things are:
My family first and foremost.
I love the first cup of coffee in the morning. No other is as good.
Teapots. Don't collect as many as I use to ran out of room.
Fall; Got to be the best time of the year. I love the early morning chill in the air, the colors.Uncertain of whats ahead.
Christmas: Love the decorating the dreams of a simpler time. Family time. My villages that I could look at endlessly.
Fabric; Nothing is more relaxing than spending time in a good fabric store. I must admit I'd rather it be one that is geared to quilting. I do think I enjoy the hunt as much if not more than the process.
Stitchery; I put this on hold for years but I'm finding a renewed interest.
Reading; I try to read everyday. My favorites is quilting and sewing magazines. ( alittle pricey at times) My Bible it is my lifeline.
Sitting on the front porch with my Husband. Now that the kids have homes of their on its good to sit and talk about the day. Sometimes being a Pastor and his wife you deal with alot of issues in peoples lives. Its good to clear your head alittle.
Reading Blogs; Being a empty nester and working in the office at my home blogging is my outlet to the world. It is good to read about others with the same interest that I have.
