Been wanting a pleater for ages. But really didn't have alot of reasons to purchase on.
Until we were told that we had 2 granddaughters coming this year.
Now thats big news around here.
Theres never been a girl in our family.
As someone told me their rotten already. Probally so. Our grandson is so why not the girls.
Anyway, back to the pleater.
I did get it from ebay. That could or could not be a good thing. Its a Stantley.
Now to learn to use it.
Any suggestions on that??
Not alot of sewing today or the next little while.
But maybe I can work on my smocking.
You can probably find a web site that will teach you how to use it properly. It is important. Other bloggers are also very helpful! Mine isn't a Stantley so I don't know how different it is from mine. Why don't you post a picture of it?
