QUILTING AGAIN

I must have the shortest attention span ever.


I love to sew, I really do. And I've been working on items for my Etsy Store. But I get bored easily.


On the work table is a tunic top for me. And don't get me wrong I've got to do some fall sewing for myself since I purged my closet this spring. Theres also project that needs to be added to my store. But I took alittle time out to put a log cabin quilt together.


All that I like is the border and then its time to quilt.


This is a king size quilt and I really would love to send it out to be quilted but I refuse to pay almost $200.00 to have it quilted.

DH has decided that this is his.And I do owe him on since the last one I did for him I used to put a fire out with.

We had moved into a house in the country and I'm talking country here. No paid fire department! Christmas Eve at that and I have a candel catch some greenery on fire. By the time the smoke detectors went off there was a blaze and I reached for the first thing Icould get to smother the fire out with. You got it, his quilt. The way he acted you would have thought he would have rather the house burn down.

Anyway that has been 8 to10 years ago so he's laid claims to this one.

We do have a anniversary coming up so I'll try to get it finished for him.
