Now The Fun Begins

Thanksgiving is over and now we move on to Christmas.

Every year I'm going to do less, every year I do more. This year was going to be simply. Make the girls (DDIL) apron's and purses. Plus some money. My sons I was going to buy a couple of things then money. DGS now that is always a different story. We only have one so that is never as planned. The 2 that thinks we're their granpparents I am trying to hold that down. DH told me not to even sayI wasn't making candy this year because I would as always.
All of that is a normal Christmas around our house.
But this year after today every week-end is booked. Plus I still have loads of sewing to do. We've came in contact with a family that the mom was killed a few months ago. The grandmother has taking them. She's not in good health and there is no extra money.
I can't stand that so more shopping.

And to top that off the lady that I sent DH"s quilt to be quilted is not sure when she'll be finished just sometime before Christmas.
Now mind you I do not like last minute things. In fact they drive me crazy. DH puts everything off until the last minute . Not me.

To add to the craziness DH and I are setting up another house to split our time at. We already own it but we had to buy a few pieces of furniture and just the thought of all of it is unsettling.
I would love to wait until after the holidays I don't see that happening.
But all in all Life is Good at my house.
