Monday Morning Rambling

It's Monday morning and I'm sitting here reading thru Blogs and my minds all over the place.
Wanted to go to the guild meeting but I don't see that happen today. I do not know why it seems to be that way but on Mondays it's just all over the place around here.

What I do have to do today is do alittle office work here, go to the bank then pick up Corp. taxes. We did an extension and tomorrow is Tax day for the company. Not too bad but her office in at Clark Tower with over 30 floors in it and her office in on the 31st. Now mind you I hate elevators. Is seems like there always working on one there.
I've got to pick up a wireless adapter for the upstairs computer for DH, and I really want to stop by the bookstore to see whats new in Cross Stitch.

You heard me right, Cross stitch. I'm still quilting but this blog thing has got me itching to stitch again. I use to do it alot but over the years I stopped. Even got rid of all my thread and I had alot of thread.
I think the reason I burned out was I did so many big pictures. Think I'll start something small this time.
But it could have been the redwork snowmen that renewed my interest. Are my sister that I found this year and wanting to do something for her. Who Knows? It happened now to do something with it.

On the quilting front.
I have my Christmas Runner pinned and ready to quilt. The fabric for the border on pink/green came Saturday. I've bought fabric for crayon rolls, plus other of course.
Wanting to do a baby quilt. Probably need to do 2 of them. Having to restrain myself and not order the Marcus Metro Blue Remix for a quilt. I am thinking about using that for a lap quilt for my sister.

So much has happened this year.
I found family I never knew , we moved (again). And the list could go on and on.
On the new family.
I stay in contact with them but because of distance visits want be frequent.
All in all it was good to find them. And it's uncanny the connection that we seem to have.

Life sure is full of surprises.
