Ideals

Smocked dress front.

Bonnet & Bib

The dress is Jennifer from AS&E.

I did a few things different than what the instruction showed. The smocking has been finished for a while, but I ran out of what to juice. The pattern is one that I had bought put back and recently found again. The bonnet is hand stitch as is the bib. The only thing is the fabric the I cut the bonnet & bib from is off white the dress is white. So my plans are this, practice on the off white. Make that a set. Purchase white and add to the dress. That way I have a reason to go Lace cottage again. Or even better than that to Heirlooms forever. But I can always search on the Internet for a good source of Batiste.

I do envy the talent out here. Julie & Janet are awesome. You may tell them I said that. If they were in my area I'd be a pest for them. I guess I'll have to be happy with their blogs as well as the other so talented ladies out there. Just wish I could find others.

Its cold here and my plans are to stay in and hopefully sew. DH is home also but maybe he'll play Pogo. That will last for hours and I can go have fun.

Until next time.
