Be Still My Heart

Yesterday was a beautiful day here in Northwest Ms. I needed so badly to working the office. But decided that it could wait.
So I headed to the local heirloom show.
It would have been better to worked in the office.

I got 2 pieces of fabric, a pattern and the latest Austrian Smocking Magazine.
One of the fabrics I brought home to make a tucked dress with.
The other I left to be smocked.
My intentions are to go back in blog history follow the Bishop sew along and finally make the bishop.
Came home, washed the dress fabric along with some other that was in my stash for a more traditional baby quilt. Found the pattern to use for the quilt. Now to find the time to do all the projects in my head.
I can not wait to get started. But I really need to finish one project at a time. First is the baby quilt out of Bazooplas fabric. Then the Tucked dress. Or will it be the mock Trip around the world in purples and green. Better yet how about the raggedy Ann and Andy quilts.

One project at a time? Yes, Yes, Yes, Maybe.

Then I came home went thru my closet moving the winter stuff and bringing in the early spring. When I do that I always get rid of alot. I've decided if I have not wore it in 2 years, get rid of it.
After doing this last summer in the summer/winter transition and doing it again in the winter/spring I will either have to sew for myself or buy this year.

Any good Dress pattern's out there?
I would love to have simply dresses that I could pair with jackets and go.

Thats a good reason to go back to the fabric store.

Be Still My Heart.
