Things That Make Me Happy

Been looking at all the crazyness in our world these days.
Oil Spills
Grocery's getting more and more pricey.
Gas. Don't want to talk about it.
Economy that just want turn around.
Sickness on every corner.

In the mist of it all sometimes its hard to smile.
Now don't get me wrong I'm not a grouch. But I am a Pastor's wife and I see and hear so much sorrow, disapointments, hursts. That sometimes things start tolook very dark and gloomy.

So as I was waking up in the wee hours this morning, and praying, pondering over things. I started to think about things that make me smile.

If you have a list I'd like to hear about it.
Guess its what the older folks use to say: Stop and smell the roses.

Here's my List:

Family. Espically my grandchildren.
Fall colors. Love to look at and see the trees turning colors.
Of course that is a dream in 100 plus weather.
Reading.
Sitting down with a cup of coffee in the early morning and looking out over the pond into the woods behind my house.
Memories of my Great-Grandmother.
Puppies.
Fabric stores.
Raggedy Ann Dolls.
Antiques stores.
Working in my sewing room.
Dreaming about one day doing what I love and actually getting paid for it.


Most important talking to God just me and him.
